About Akin Old

Thanks for asking about me! I am a big fan of customer-centric metrics, and an evangelist for the use of analytics for better experiences.

I am also an evangelist for Contentsquare and their Digital Experience Analytics solution. Part of a highly energized team I am here to help our customers turn insights into better business.

  • Before Contentsquare, I worked at Clicktale who were acquired by Contentsquare in 2019
  • Earlier, I worked at Lyris – the Connected Customer Communications solution. Lyris was acquired by Aurea software in 2015.
  • Prior to Lyris, I have been in IBM’s Enterprise Marketing Management group for over 11 years as an evangelist for the digital analytics and marketing optimization solutions. I came into IBM via their acquisition of Unica and Coremetrics.
  • I am much indebted for my start in digital analytics to Sane Solutions who were later acquired by Unica. 
  • It was through the great people of MicroStrategy that I received my professional introduction to business intelligence and data warehousing practices.

I have been on the road frequently participating in panels and speaking sessions. So I hope to meet you in the field! Thank you for coming here and reading.
